Accessibility
The Victorians who built Hinde Street have left us a beautiful building, but they also left us steps at every entrance! This means that while we have been able to make most of our spaces accessible and step-free, there are some limitations to consider.
Currently, we accommodate for disabilities in the following ways:
-
A lift from street level to the main floors and spaces. As you approach the front of the building on Hinde Street, you’ll see a gate to the right of the steps. Please ring the bell to be buzzed in.
-
Accessible toilets.
-
Audio induction loops in the Church and Hall.
The parts of the building which are not step-free are the church balcony and the four Thayer Rooms (small meeting rooms).
